Billing FAQ
What's the difference between Pro and Max?
Max gives you unlimited decks, unlimited image occlusion, files up to 200 pages and videos up to 90 minutes, for about twice the price. If you make cards for every class, Max is the one.
What counts as a page?
One page of a PDF, one PowerPoint slide or one photo. For Word files and pasted text, about 500 words. For YouTube, every 5 minutes of video.
Which files can I upload?
PDFs, PowerPoint slides, Word documents, photos of notes or slides, pasted text and YouTube links. Your plan sets how long a file or video can be (see Compare plans).
Is exporting to Anki free?
Yes, on every plan, Free included. Download any deck as an Anki file (.apkg) or a CSV, as often as you like.
What happens when I hit a limit?
Your decks stay. Upgrade, or wait for your monthly reset (the date is on your Account page).
Can I switch plans or move to yearly later?
Yes, any time from your account. Moving up starts right away and you only pay the difference; moving down starts at your next renewal.
What if I cancel?
You keep your plan until the period ends, then move to Free. Nothing is deleted.
Are payments secure?
Yes. Payments are handled by our payment processor (Polar), so we never see your card details.
