Good to know
- Gizmo can print a deck or save it as a PDF (⋮ → Print), but it has no CSV or Anki export, so copying the text is the way out.
- Pictures on Gizmo cards can't be copied as text; add them in Anki afterwards if you need them.
- Your Gizmo progress doesn't transfer: every card starts as new in Anki.

Questions
Is there a faster way than copying?
Paste a whole column of questions and a whole column of answers into a spreadsheet, then copy both columns at once and paste here.
Can I use Gizmo's PDF instead?
Gizmo's Print / Save as PDF gives you a document, not cards. Anki needs the question and answer as text, so copy them out of the deck (⋮ → Edit shows each card's full text) and paste them here.
What about multiple-choice and matching cards?
Anki has no multiple-choice type. Turn each one into a question with its answer, or a cloze sentence like {{c1::Paris}} is the capital of France.
Is it really free? Do you keep my cards?
Yes, free, with no sign-up. Everything happens in your browser: your cards and files never leave your device.
How do I open the .apkg in Anki?
Double-click the file, or in Anki choose File → Import and pick it. On AnkiMobile or AnkiDroid, open the file from your downloads (or share it to the app).
Will importing twice make duplicates?
No. The same front and back always get the same id, so Anki updates the card instead of adding a copy.
Can I make cloze cards?
Yes. Write blanks the Anki way, like {{c1::ATP}} is made in the {{c2::mitochondria}}, and they become cloze cards.
